Book Launch and Signing.

On the 22nd July we celebrated the publication of Arigatou Goza y Mas by Mexican writer Fernanda Ballesteros. The book is a poetic travel story into Japan by a longtime friend of the project, Fernanda who worked alongside us throughout the process to design the book.  This is our first Sendb00ks publication, and the first translated work by Fernanda into English. We made 500 copies, all hand numbered by us in Paris, and printed by Die Kuerre in Belgium.
On Thursday night, one of the hottest evenings in Paris this year, under an almost full moon we pretty much overtook the street of Rue de Jarente where we curated a small pop- up library alongside La Murcialaga in Mexico City. We served natural wine by La Quille and had a large collection of our previous editions and second hand books. We were joined by friends of the project, subscribers who have been receiving books from us for years, and those who were simply passing by in the street. Fernanda signed all of the books on the night, drawing and dedicating each book to her readers.
We are overwhelmed by the response of the book and the event, and thank everybody who came by and contributed to this cool evening.
We still have some books available, and are able to have them signed for you if you send us a message with your order.
Jan Melka designed the poster on the morning of the event, and her painting was on the wall of the library.
Thank you again to all who have contributed to making this possible, to all who kindly read over the translation and helped with the printing process and generally gave us the confidence to go ahead.
Love, Gemma, Katie, Marlene and Marie at Sendb00ks.
