It’s nearing the end of summer, the leaves are already on the floor and it feels like back to school. We’re encouraging you to keep the poolside books open and to enter another world with us and Augusta Lardy Micheli who has chosen to send Leonora Carrington’s surreal and magnificent story The Hearing Trumpet. Finally the perfect artist to compliment and wrap around this story which we have wanted to send for years for its ability to applaud and encourage the eccentric women in us all.
As always, each book will feature a limited edition sleeve designed by Augusta and a postcard for you to use as a bookmark or whatever else you so desire.
We will also be making 100 limited edition mini books 'Where to Land' featuring Augusta's airplane photos, paintings and drawings and her texts that attempt to pin down the mid-air love for this planet, that feels so fearful lately in the wake of the ecological disasters that keep reminding us of our impact on the earth.
As we will be hand painting and printing the books they will be limited to an edition of 100 and will be first come first serve. We have increased the price this time to reflect that, but as ever if you can't afford this please send us an email and we will see what we can do.
